Sometimes, after logging in to the Mybox Panel and navigating to the Email section, you may notice that one or more mailboxes are marked as:
not used Table of Contents
What Does “not used” Mean?
The “not used” status does not mean that the mailbox:
- Is disabled
- Is not functioning correctly
- Cannot send or receive emails
- Has been suspended or deleted
The mailbox remains fully operational and can continue to send and receive messages normally.

Why Is the Mailbox Marked as Unused?
A mailbox receives the “not used” status when it has never been accessed through webmail.
In other words, no one has logged in to the mailbox using:
https://mail.mybox.com (or the webmail address configured for your service)
Common Scenarios
A mailbox may be marked as “not used” even if it is actively receiving emails when:
- It is configured in an email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, or a mobile device.
- It is used only for forwarding emails.
- It is intended to receive automated notifications.
- It has never been accessed through the webmail interface.
How to Remove the “not used” Status
Simply log in to the mailbox through webmail using the mailbox credentials.
After a successful login, the mailbox will no longer be considered unused.
Summary
The “not used” status is only an informational indicator that the mailbox has never been accessed through webmail. It does not affect the mailbox’s functionality, email delivery, or ability to send and receive messages.
