Creating and Editing Products
To add a new product, navigate to:
Products → Add New
To edit an existing product, go to:
Products → All Products

General Product Settings
The General tab contains pricing and tax-related settings.
Regular Price
Enter the standard selling price of the product.

SKU
SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is a unique identifier for the product.

Manage Stock

to allow WooCommerce to track inventory automatically.

Stock Quantity
Enter the number of available units.

Stock Status
Select:
- In Stock
- Out of Stock
- On Backorder
Backorders
Backorders allow customers to purchase products even when stock reaches zero.
Available options:
Do Not Allow
Customers cannot purchase out-of-stock products.
Allow, But Notify Customer
Customers can order the product and will see a notification that the item is on backorder.
Allow
Customers can order the product without any additional notification.
Shipping Settings
Open the:
Shipping
tab.
Weight
Enter the product weight.
Example:
1.5 kg
Dimensions
Specify:
- Length
- Width
- Height
These values are useful for shipping calculations.
Shipping Classes
Shipping classes allow different shipping costs for different types of products.
Examples:
