Folder subscriptions in mybox Mail allow you to control which mail folders are visible and active in your email interface. This helps you keep your mailbox organized and focused only on the folders you actually use.

How folder subscriptions work
Each email account can contain multiple folders. Some folders are standard system folders, while others may be user-created.
Subscription status determines whether a folder is:
- visible in the mail interface
- actively monitored for new messages
- included in synchronization
Step 1: Open settings
After logging in to mybox Mail, click the settings (gear) icon.
This will open the configuration menu for your mailbox.
Step 2: Go to folder settings
In the settings menu, select:
Folders
This section displays all available mail folders for your account.
Step 3: Manage subscriptions
Next to each folder, you will see a checkbox.
- checked box → folder is subscribed (active)
- unchecked box → folder is not subscribed (inactive)
System folders may appear greyed out and cannot be modified.
Changes are saved automatically
When you enable or disable a folder subscription:
- the change is applied immediately
- no manual save button is required
Your mailbox will update automatically.
Practical implications
Unsubscribing from a folder does not delete it. It only hides it from the active view and synchronization list.
This can help reduce clutter in large mailboxes or when using multiple folders for organization.
Summary
In mybox Mail, folder subscriptions can be managed from the settings menu under “Folders”. Changes are applied automatically and allow you to control which folders are visible and actively used in your mailbox.
