To create a new account, just click “+Add” in the the mybox panel.
A form with two tabs will open. In the Standard tab, you can change the values:
- FTP login: this is the username that is needed later for authorization (the login can consist of a maximum of 32 characters, this number includes the prefix).
- Password: In this field, you will need to enter a new password that meets the relevant security requirements (at least: 1 capital letter, 1 number, 1 special character, eight characters in total) It will be used to authorize the account for FTP connections
- The parent directory is the path to the directory that is accessible from the account. You can select it from the list.
In the Advanced tab:
- Additional catalog: In the selected parent directory, you can create an additional directory that defines the path to which the account will be restricted.
- Selected target directory: The path to which the account will ultimately be restricted. The field is automatically completed based on the Parent Catalog and Additional Catalog fields.
After the configuration is complete, you need to save the changes by clicking on the Add FTP account button.
