If you have multiple separate mybox hosting accounts-for example, one for personal projects, another for your company, or separate accounts for your clients-you can assign a subdomain from one account to another.
This allows a website hosted on one mybox account to operate under a subdomain that belongs to a domain managed on a different account.

Example Scenario
Suppose:
- Your main domain is:
yourdomain.com - You want to use the subdomain:
client.yourdomain.com - The website should be hosted on a different mybox account.
In this case, the subdomain must first be created and then transferred between accounts.
Step 1: Create the Subdomain
Log in to the mybox Panel account that currently manages the main domain.
Navigate to:
Websites
and create a new website using the desired subdomain.
Example:
client.yourdomain.com At this stage, it is recommended to create the website as a Blank Website.
This simplifies the transfer process and avoids moving unnecessary files or applications.
Step 2: Contact Support
After the subdomain website has been created, open a support ticket through the mybox customer support system.
In the ticket, provide:
- The subdomain that should be transferred
- The login or customer ID of the destination mybox account
Example:
Subdomain: client.yourdomain.com
Destination account: customer123 Step 3: Confirm the Transfer
The owner of the destination account must also submit a support request confirming that they agree to receive the subdomain on their account.
This verification helps prevent unauthorized transfers between customer accounts.
Step 4: Transfer Completion
Once both requests have been received and verified, the support team will perform the transfer.
When a newly created blank website is being transferred, the process typically takes only a few minutes.
After completion:
- The subdomain will be assigned to the destination account.
- Website files can be uploaded and managed from the new account.
- The destination account becomes responsible for hosting the website under that subdomain.
Managing Multiple Accounts
If you regularly manage multiple mybox customer accounts, you may benefit from linking accounts under a single management profile, allowing easier administration of client services and websites.
Summary
To use a subdomain on another mybox account:
- Create a new website using the desired subdomain.
- Use a Blank Website during setup.
- Open a support ticket requesting the transfer.
- Provide the destination account ID.
- Have the destination account owner confirm acceptance.
- Wait for the support team to complete the transfer.
Once completed, the subdomain will operate under the destination mybox account and can be managed independently from the main domain’s account.
