Pagekit is a lightweight, modular content management system (CMS) built with PHP and modern web technologies. It features a user-friendly interface, supports extensions and themes, and can use either a MySQL database or a file-based SQLite database.
One of Pagekit’s advantages is that it is free and relatively easy to install.

Downloading Pagekit
Visit the official Pagekit download page:

Download the latest available ZIP package to your computer.
Preparing Your Hosting Account
Before installation, create a website on your hosting account.
In the Mybox Panel:
- Navigate to Websites.
- Click Add Website.
- Select Blank Website.
- Enter the domain or subdomain you want to use.
- Create an FTP account and database if required.
- Complete the website creation process.
Once the website has been created, note the FTP credentials provided by the panel.
Uploading the Files
Step 1
Extract the downloaded ZIP archive on your computer.
Step 2
Connect to your hosting account using an FTP client such as FileZilla or WinSCP.
Step 3
Open the website’s root directory, which is typically:
public_html
Step 4
Upload all extracted Pagekit files and folders to the website directory.
After the upload completes, you are ready to start the installation wizard.
Running the Installation Wizard
Open your website address in a web browser.

The Pagekit installer should appear automatically.
Step 1 – Welcome Screen
Click the arrow button to begin the installation process.
Step 2 – Select Language
Choose the language you would like to use for the Pagekit administration panel.

Step 3 – Choose Database Type
Pagekit allows you to choose between different database engines.
For smaller websites, you can select:
SQLite
This option stores website data locally without requiring a separate MySQL database.
For larger projects, you may choose MySQL and enter the database credentials created in the Mybox Panel.

Step 4 – Create Administrator Account
Fill in the required information:
- Website title
- Administrator username
- Administrator password
- Email address
Review the information carefully and click:
Install
Completing the Installation
After a short moment, the installation will finish and Pagekit will create the required files and configuration.
You can then begin building and managing your website.
Accessing the Administration Panel
By default, the Pagekit administration panel is available at:
https://yourdomain.com/admin
Replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain name.
Use the administrator username and password created during installation to log in.
