When using Grouped Products in WooCommerce, you may want customers to see only the grouped product while hiding the individual products that make up the group. This helps keep your product catalog organized and prevents customers from purchasing the component products separately.

Why Hide Component Products?
Hiding component products can be useful when:
- You want to sell products only as part of a bundle.
- You want to avoid duplicate listings in product categories.
- You want to simplify navigation for customers.
- You want to present a complete package rather than individual items.
Hiding a Product from the Catalog
Step 1
Log in to your WordPress administration panel.
Step 2
Navigate to:
Products → All Products
Step 3
Open the product that is part of your grouped product.
Step 4
In the right-hand sidebar, locate the:
Publish
section.
Step 5
Find the:
Catalog Visibility
option and click:
Edit
Step 6
Select:
Hidden
Step 7
Click:
OK
and then:
Update
to save the changes.
Repeat for All Component Products
Perform the same steps for each product included in your grouped product.
Once completed:
- The individual products will no longer appear in:
- Product category pages
- Product archive pages
- Store search results
- Shop listings
- The products will still:
- Remain active in WooCommerce
- Be available within the grouped product
- Maintain their pricing and inventory settings
- Be purchasable through the grouped product page
Example
Suppose you have a grouped product called:
Office Starter Bundle
containing:
- Office Desk
- Office Chair
- Desk Lamp
By setting the visibility of each component product to:
Hidden
customers will only see:
Office Starter Bundle
in your store, while the individual products remain accessible only through the bundle page.
