Best Practices for Product Images
Use High-Quality Photos
Images should be clear, sharp, and professionally presented.
Show Multiple Angles
Include photos showing:
- Front view
- Side view
- Back view
- Product details
Use Consistent Dimensions
Consistent image sizes improve the appearance of category and product pages.
A common recommendation is:
1000 × 1000 px
or larger.
Optimize Image Size
Large images can slow down page loading.
Consider:
- Compressing images before upload.
- Using modern formats such as WebP when supported.
- Optimizing images with caching or image optimization plugins.
Add ALT Text
Descriptive ALT text can improve:
- Accessibility
- Search engine visibility
- Image search rankings
