Flex Box is a paid hosting plan designed for websites and applications that need reliable resources and the ability to handle variable traffic. Unlike typical shared hosting plan, Flex Box automatically adjusts CPU, RAM and Storage to match your site’s current demand - you are not capped at a fixed allocation.

Base parameters
Every Flex Box account starts with a guaranteed resource allocation:
| Resource | Base value |
| CPU | 6 GHz |
| RAM | 4 GB |
| Storage (NVMe) | 25 GB |
Storage covers files, databases, and email combined.
How automatic scaling works
When your website requires more CPU or RAM than the base allocation - for example during a traffic spike or a resource-intensive process - Flex Box automatically increases the available resources. When demand drops, resources return to the base level.
Scaling is billed based on actual consumption, not peak usage:
CPU is billed as the average usage per minute, sampled every second. A process that uses maximum CPU for 1 second and then nothing for the remaining 59 seconds is billed at 0.1 GHz for that minute, not 6 GHz.
RAM usage is primarily driven by the number of active PHP processes. More simultaneous visitors or large requests mean more processes running in parallel.
Additional resources are billed per hour started. You can review costs and set spending limits in the Reports or Limit Management section of your panel.
Spending limits and notifications
You can set a maximum scaling budget in your panel. Resources are drawn from your pre-paid balance - no automatic charges beyond what you have deposited. The system sends notifications as you approach your set limit.
What happens when storage runs out
If you reach your storage limit, your website remains accessible to visitors, but you will not be able to upload new files or receive new email. Incoming mail senders will receive a delivery failure notification.
If elastic scaling is not active or your scaling balance is depleted, you may also see 503 errors - this can happen when a CMS attempts to write to temporary folders and finds no available space.
Reducing resource usage
Common causes of increased resource consumption include traffic crawlers, plugin activity, scheduled tasks, and code errors such as broken links or missing files. To reduce CPU and RAM usage:
- Enable caching (e.g. LSCache for LiteSpeed) - cached pages are served without running PHP, which significantly reduces resource demand under high traffic.
- Monitor redirect chains and optimise your .htaccess configuration. See: .htaccess file
Flex Box does not charge for system processes, backups, or mail infrastructure.
Flex Box will be introduced in a future release. If you need more resources during Early Access, contact the team via Discord or Helpdesk.
