Easy Digital Downloads (EDD) is a WordPress plugin designed specifically for selling digital products online. Unlike general-purpose e-commerce platforms, EDD focuses on downloadable products such as eBooks, software, music, templates, graphics, online courses, and other digital files.
Its streamlined approach makes it a popular choice for creators, developers, educators, and businesses that do not need the inventory and shipping features commonly associated with physical products.
