Domain names cannot be modified after they have been registered. Once a domain is created and recorded by the registry responsible for that extension, its name becomes permanent.

If the Domain Order Has Not Been Completed Yet
If you notice a typo or mistake in the domain name before the registration process is completed, contact the mybox support team as soon as possible.
In many cases, if the order has not yet been processed, it may be possible to cancel it and place a new order using the correct domain name.
If the Domain Has Already Been Registered
Unfortunately, once a domain has been successfully registered and activated, its name cannot be edited or corrected.
For example, if you intended to register:
mycompany.ro but accidentally registered:
mycompnay.ro the domain name cannot be changed after registration.
This limitation applies to all domain extensions and registrars because the domain name is permanently recorded in the registry database.
What Are My Options?
If the registered domain contains an error, the only solution is to register a new domain with the correct spelling.
Before completing the new order, carefully verify:
- Domain spelling
- Extension (.ro, .com, .eu, etc.)
- Hyphens and special characters
- Company or brand name
Important Notes
- Domain registration fees are generally non-refundable once registration has been completed.
- Registering a new domain does not automatically cancel the existing one.
- If the incorrectly registered domain is no longer needed, you can simply allow it to expire at the end of its registration period.
Summary
A registered domain name cannot be modified after registration. If you discover an error before the registration process is completed, contact the mybox support team immediately. If the domain has already been registered, the only available solution is to register a new domain with the correct name.
