By default, the Mail app on iPhone or iPad usually assigns a “Sent” folder automatically. However, if your sent messages are not appearing where you expect them, or if you prefer to use a specific folder on the server, you can manually redefine this path.
Defining this folder ensures that messages sent from your iPhone are correctly synced across all your devices and visible in the mybox webmail interface.

Step-by-Step Configuration
To change the destination for sent messages, follow these steps on your iOS device:
- Open Settings and tap Mail.
- Tap Accounts, then select the specific mybox email account you wish to configure.
- Tap the account name again (next to “Account”) to open the server settings.
- Select Advanced at the bottom of the screen.
- Under the Mailbox Behaviors section, tap Sent Mailbox.
- Select the desired folder under the On the Server section to ensure messages are saved to the cloud rather than locally on the device.
What to expect
Once you select the folder, a checkmark will appear next to it. After navigating back and tapping Done, your iPhone will immediately begin uploading newly sent messages to that specific folder.
Note: This change is retroactive for visibility, but it does not physically move messages you sent before changing this setting. Those will remain in the folder that was previously designated.
Troubleshooting
If you do not see your preferred folder in the list:
- Ensure your account is configured using IMAP (standard for mybox).
- Refresh your mailbox list by pulling down in the Mail app.
- Check that the folder exists in your mybox webmail first..
