class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the <strong>IP Address<\/strong> field, enter the public IP address that should be allowed to connect to the database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Example:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>1.2.3.4<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can also add an optional description to help identify the purpose of the entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>Office<br>Home<br>Development PC<br>Accounting Software<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This can be useful when managing multiple authorized IP addresses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Step_4_Save_the_Changes\"><\/span>Step 4: Save the Changes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After saving the new entry, the IP address will be added to the remote access whitelist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The server configuration may take several minutes to update.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the changes have been applied, you can connect to the database from the authorized location using your database credentials:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are unsure of your current public IP address, you can check it using an online service such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>https:&#47;&#47;whatismyipaddress.com<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">or<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-code\"><code>https:&#47;&#47;ifconfig.me<\/code><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Make sure you add the public IP address of the network that will be connecting to the database.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Important_Notes\"><\/span>Important Notes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only authorized IP addresses can establish remote database connections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If your Internet provider changes your public IP address dynamically, you may need to update the whitelist periodically.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Removing an IP address from the list immediately prevents future connections from that location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For security reasons, only add IP addresses that genuinely require access.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Summary\"><\/span>Summary<span Panel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open <strong>Databases \u2192 MySQL Remote Access<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>+ Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enter the external IP address that should be allowed to connect.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save the changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait a few minutes for the configuration to be applied.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afterward, applications connecting from the approved IP address will be able to access the database using the appropriate connection credentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
