class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rebuild Entire Index<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PrestaShop will begin rebuilding the search index for all products in the store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_to_Expect\"><\/span>What to Expect<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The indexing process may take several minutes, depending on the number of products in your catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During this process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Existing products are reindexed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product names, descriptions, and searchable attributes are processed again.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search results should become more accurate once the process is complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For larger stores, avoid closing the browser following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The products are enabled and visible in the catalog.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Product names and descriptions contain searchable keywords.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The products are assigned to the correct shop (for multistore installations).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search settings have not been modified in a way that excludes certain products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may also want to clear the PrestaShop cache and test the search function again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Summary\"><\/span>Summary<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PrestaShop relies on a search index to display products in search results. If products cannot be found correctly, rebuilding the entire index from <strong>Preferences \u2192 Search<\/strong> is often the first step in resolving the problem.
