By default, our security system blocks remote resources\u2014such as images and custom CSS styles\u2014in incoming emails. To adjust your global preferences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to <strong>mail.mybox.com<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to <strong>Settings > Preferences > Message Display<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locate the option <strong>Allow remote resources (images, styles)<\/strong> and choose one of the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Never:<\/strong> All remote elements are blocked, regardless of the sender.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From my contacts:<\/strong> Images display automatically only if the sender is in your main address book.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From trusted senders:<\/strong> Images only display for addresses specifically added to the &#8220;Trusted&#8221; list.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Always:<\/strong> All images load automatically (this provides the least protection).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"How_to_Add_a_Sender_to_the_Trusted_List\"><\/span>How to Add a Sender to the Trusted List<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are two ways to designate a sender as trusted:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1. Directly from an Email<\/strong> When you open an email with blocked images, a notification bar will appear at the top of the message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click <strong>Allow<\/strong> to display the images for that specific email only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Always allow from [email address]<\/strong> to automatically add that sender to your &#8220;Trusted Senders&#8221; list for all future messages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Manual Management<\/strong> You can view and edit your list at any time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the <strong>Contacts<\/strong> tab in the top navigation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the list of address books on the left, select <strong>Trusted Senders<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Here, you can manually add new addresses or delete old ones that you no longer wish to trust.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Distinction_Block\"><\/span>Distinction Block<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Contacts vs. Trusted Senders<\/strong> Your <strong>Contacts<\/strong> list is your personal phonebook. The <strong>Trusted Senders<\/strong> list is a security whitelist. While they can overlap, keeping them separate allows you to save a contact&#8217;s info without necessarily giving their newsletters permission to bypass your image security filters.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Practical_Implications\"><\/span>Practical Implications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Privacy Protection:<\/strong> Many marketing emails use &#8220;tracking pixels&#8221; (invisible images) to notify the sender the moment you open an email. By using the &#8220;From trusted senders&#8221; setting, you prevent this tracking from happening on emails you haven&#8217;t approved.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Security Balance:<\/strong> We recommend the <strong>&#8220;From trusted senders&#8221;<\/strong> setting.
