If your domain is registered with another provider, you can delegate it to mybox by updating the nameservers in your current registrar’s panel.
Table of Contents
Step 1 - Update nameservers at your registrar
Log in to your current domain registrar’s panel and replace the existing nameserver values with:
- ns1.mybox.com
- ns2.mybox.com
The exact location of this setting varies by registrar - it is usually found under DNS, Nameservers, or Domain settings.
Step 2 - Add the domain to your mybox panel
After updating the nameservers, park the domain in the mybox panel. This tells mybox to create a DNS zone for the domain and associate it with your hosting account.

Step 3 - Wait for propagation
DNS changes take up to 24 hours to propagate across the internet. During this time, the domain may be unreachable or resolve inconsistently in different locations - this is expected behavior.
