A message read on your phone will appear as read on your computer. If a device is lost or breaks down, your messages remain safe on the server. This is the recommended option for most users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>POP3<\/strong> downloads messages to a single device and, depending on your settings, may remove them from the server afterwards. This works well if you use only one device and need offline access to your messages.
