mybox creates automatic daily backups of all databases on your account. In addition, you can create a manual backup at any time \u2014 for example, before making significant changes to your database or before updating your CMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Manual backups are created on demand and stored alongside automatic backup points in the same interface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n

How to create a manual database backup<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1 \u2014 Open MySQL Databases<\/strong> Log in to your mybox panel and go to Databases \u2192 MySQL Databases<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n

Step 2 \u2014 Select the database<\/strong> Click the row for the database you want to back up to expand its options, then open the Backups<\/strong> section. A list of available backup points for that database will appear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each backup point is marked with an icon indicating its origin:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n

Step 3 \u2014 Create the backup<\/strong> Click the Back up<\/strong> button at the bottom of the Backups section, then confirm by clicking Make a backup<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will see a confirmation notification in the upper right corner. Once the process completes, the new backup point will appear in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n

Manual MySQL database backups are available in R1. The number of stored backup points depends on your plan \u2014 see Backup \u2013 the 3-2-1 rule<\/a> for details.<\/div><\/div>
