This reduces memory usage and keeps response times stable under load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Key_features\"><\/span><strong>Key features<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>HTTP\/3 and QUIC support<\/strong> LiteSpeed supports the <em>HTTP\/3<\/em> protocol, which reduces connection setup time and improves performance on unstable networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Built-in caching<\/strong> LiteSpeed includes a native caching layer that stores generated page content and serves it without re-executing PHP on every request. For WordPress, this works in combination with the <strong>LiteSpeed Cache<\/strong> plugin, which provides full control over what is cached and when it expires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ModSecurity integration<\/strong> LiteSpeed includes <em>ModSecurity<\/em>, a web application firewall that filters malicious requests and blocks common attack patterns including <em>SQL injection<\/em>, <em>XSS<\/em>, and <em>DDoS<\/em> attempts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>LSPHP<\/strong> LiteSpeed uses its own PHP handler, <em>LSPHP<\/em>, which processes PHP requests more efficiently than the traditional <em>mod_php<\/em> approach used by older server configurations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"LiteSpeed_and_WordPress\"><\/span><strong>LiteSpeed and WordPress<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LiteSpeed is fully compatible with WordPress, Joomla, and other popular CMS platforms.
